Synopsis

The Mirror is about the shambolic nature of a country called Pride Land. It is a political country located in the south-western of Africa. It operates a direct democratic system of government in a parliamentary setting, whereby the council of chiefs and the head (king) of the country are elected periodically. Pride Land is a country that is endowed with human capital and in particular, with fertile land that produces good oil among many other natural resources which is the key source of income for the country and which is intended to be used to promote development and well-being of its citizens. Meanwhile, the neglect of the young (youths) in the political realm has led the country's power-hungry politicians, retired military personnel and public officials to be characterized by corruption, oppression, nepotism, favouritism and some other criminal activities that does not augur well for the country's development compared to its neighboring country.
